One or more of the following Endorsements may apply to your policy, depending on your occupation. Perhaps none will apply. We will confirm if any apply in the event you choose to proceed with a policy.
PROPERTY DAMAGE TO UNDERGROUND FIXED PROPERTY CONDITION
The 'Business Liability' section of this policy does not cover liability in respect of damage to roads, sewers, water pipes, gas pipes, electric, fibre optic or telecommunications wires or cables or their supports unless you have ascertained the actual position of any such pipes, mains, cables and wires from the relevant authorities before commencing any operation
ROAD CONSTRUCTION EXCLUSION
The 'Business Liability' section of this policy does not cover liability arising directly or indirectly out of, or caused by, or in connection with road construction carried on by you or on your behalf.
TREE LOPPING 3.5 METRE RESTRICTION
The 'Business Liability' section of this policy does not cover liability arising directly or indirectly out of, or caused by tree lopping, cutting or removal where the tree involved exceeds 3.5 metres in height.
PROPERTY DAMAGE EXCESS
$1000 An excess of $1000 will apply to any property damage claim. This will override any other excess that may otherwise apply
AIR CONDITIONING COOLING TOWER EXCLUSION
This policy does not cover liability for personal injury or property damage arising directly or indirectly from or caused by, contributed to by, or arising from any work performed on or to any air conditioning cooling towers.
CLEANING CONTRACTOR EXCLUSION
The 'Business Liability' section of this policy does not cover liability arising directly or indirectly out of, or caused by, or in connection with:
1. Loss of keys to any premises 2. Cleaning activities performed during trading or business hours.
EXCLUDED ACTIVITIES AND/OR PRODUCTS
The 'Business Liability' section of this policy does not cover liability arising directly or indirectly out of, or caused by, or in connection with the cleaning of windows that are more than 10 metres from the ground.
WINDOW CLEANING EXCLUSION
The 'Business Liability' section of this policy does not cover liability arising directly or indirectly out of, caused by, or in connection with: 1. Scratches to windows and/or protective or reflective film applied thereto; 2. You cleaning externally above the second floor of any building
MOTOR TRADE, INCLUDING TESTING & DELIVERY EXTENSION
The 'Business liability' section of this policy is extended to cover liability for property damage to: 1. Vehicles in your physical and legal control for repairs, servicing, maintenance or storage while within the confines of your premises, or while left stationary in the immediate vicinity of your premises in a public or private road or thoroughfare, subject to a maximum indemnity of $100,000 any one occurrence and an excess of $500. 2. Property damage to any registered vehicle not owned or leased by you but in your physical and legal control for the purpose of repairs, servicing or garaging while the vehicle is on any public road way or thoroughfare, while being tested and/or collected and/or delivered subject to a maximum indemnity of $100,000 any one occurrence and an excess of $500. Clause '24. Vehicles' under '5. What we do not cover' in the 'Business Liability' section of this policy will not apply to: 1. Property damage arising from any vehicle not owned by or leased to you while within the confines of your premises; 2. Property damage to any other property not being your own or used by you or on your behalf caused by the vehicle as described and used in 1 above. The maximum amount we will pay for property damage under this clause is $100,000 any one occurrence. The indemnity provided by this extension of cover will not apply to any property damage arising from: 1. The use of any unsafe or unroadworthy vehicle unless this condition could not reasonably be detected by you. This exclusion will not apply if the property damage was not caused or contributed to by the unsafe or unroadworthy condition; 2. The use of a vehicle by: (a) Anyone with your consent who is not licensed under any relevant law to drive such a vehicle; or (b) Anyone who is convicted of driving under the influence of any drug; or (c) Anyone whose blood alcohol reading exceeds the legal limit (subject to any laws to the contrary); or (d) Anyone who refuses to provide or allow the taking of a sample of breath, blood or urine for testing or analysis as required by the law of any State or Territory where the property damage occurred. However we will cover you if you have allowed a person to drive a vehicle, while it is in your physical and legal control, and you can prove that you were not aware that the vehicle was being driven by or in charge of that person when they were so affected or unlicensed.
CLEANING OF SHOPPING CENTRES/ARCADES EXCLUSION
This policy does not cover liability in respect of personal injury damage arising directly or indirectly out of or caused by or in connection with the cleaning of floors within shopping centres, shopping malls or arcades.
RECTIFICATION OF FAULTY WORKMANSHIP
Delete clause '13. Faulty workmanship' in the 'What we do not cover' of the 'Business Liability' section in this policy. Instead insert: '13. Faulty workmanship' Property damage to that part of any property upon which you are, or have been, working where the property damage arises from your work. However, we will pay the cost of rectifying, performing, re-performing, completing faulty workmanship or improving any work undertaken by you even though the rectification, performance, re-performance, completion or improvement is consequent upon faulty workmanship; We only provide this benefit on the basis that: 1. The faulty workmanship was performed during the period of insurance and the original work undertaken by you has caused resultant damage; and 2. Our liability will be limited to an amount equal to the wholesale price of parts, freight costs and net labour costs necessarily and reasonably incurred to rectify, perform, re-perform, complete or improve the work undertaken by you. Our total liability for all claims arising from rectification of faulty workmanship is limited to $10,000 any one occurrence and $20,000 in the aggregate during the period of insurance.
